Slide Image Transfers

I got my Daylab 35+ to do slide transfers with.  I only got through three test prints before my polaroid pack imploded on itself, but I am still pretty happy with the results.  The sample picture is using polaroid film on 140 weight watercolor paper.  For fujifilm, a smooth printmaking paper works much better. The key to a good image transfer, however, is to have a good slide to begin with.  Hope you enjoy! 

I went to go for a walk in the park, ended up at the lake.  This is right outside the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago Illinois.

Hey There!

My name is Colie and I am a photographer at Columbia College Chicago.  I love photography, especially traditional film processes and Polaroid Slide Transfers.  I have a turtle named Remington and a fiance named Jack.  I hail from Minnesota and have a tattoo of it.  I love Thai food and Indian food, maybe because my father is from India.  I am fascinated with tattoo culture and american culture.  I have a minor in Women and Gender Studies and am not a feminist.
